Millions of Americans have used illegal subtances this year alone. Millions more are lying hyprocites, who have used them, yet won't admit they have.
Drugs don't kill. They don't cause others to be violent or kill. It's the person who's actions result in problems. Just because your as drunk as can be—doesn't mean your going to get out your .22 and shoot people, or get in your car, and run down pedistratians for the hell of it.
I've smoked pot. Yet I haven't turned into a monster. That said, it's none of your bussiness.
What I choose to do on my private time, and inject into my own body is my own problem. I'll probably die sooner because of this. I don't care either—and i'll be responsible and will pay for my death if was caused by my use of "illegal subtances".
At least today, I haven't killed anybody. Stop making me and everybody else into almost mass-murders, deserving life in prison for lighting up a joint.
Drugs have many postive benfits that aren't discussed often in life. They allow you to see the world in a different color, and bring out parts of your personlity you never knew existed. They make you more natural, and real.
The War on Drugs is wrong in all cases. It violates people's privacy. It's sole purpose is liberal—to make the goverment larger. It gives the goverment exterme powers it should never have—to search and arrest you at a whim—and take away your life's work in a few seconds.
The War on Drugs is also racist. The fact is the majority of people who are caught are black and poor. The majority of drug dealers are white, and are middle class or high class. Orginally drug laws were created to work against blacks and hispanics, who traditionally used drugs to relax or other purposes.
The excuse of being high or drunk is extermely lame. You should be responsible for your actions, even when you are using these subtances. Get some control people.
If drugs were as avalible as milk, they simply wouldn't be a problem. When is the last time somebody try to steal a bottle of milk? Or shoot over it. Or kill. hehe.
